This is not exactly what this gorgeous bit of building actually looks like when the ivy isn’t obscuring the details… I’ve taken the liberty of touching the image up, as well as digitally removing a jumble of the ugly wires that had been een stuck on the bricks.

Yesterday we would have liked to attend the Waterloo Region LRT Open House but there were ridiculous lineups from the start so we gave it a miss. We’ll be seeing the wee beasties soon enough, methinks.

We saw two hawks flying around (courtship?) beside the highway on the way to Kitchener yesterday, but of course I didn’t have my camera out to get photos of them gliding and soaring above our car.
When we headed home I had my camera out but all I saw was this guy walking at the side of the road.
