Use the serrated knife to cut alongside the segment membranes.

Use the serrated knife to cut around the edge, slicing through the segment membranes and separating the meat from the rind

Use a serrated edge grapefruit spoon to scoop the meat out of each grapefruit segment. Then eat it. (An ordinary spoon can do the job, too. Just not as well.

With all the grapefruit segements eaten, place small seive over the mouth of a juice glass.

Carefully squeeze the emptied halves until the juice (and pulp and seeds) flows through the sieve into the glass below.

This is the juice harvested from the remains of 2 grapefruits.

At the end of the day, you can save the seeds, and plant them in a pot as a houseplant.
