Wow.
Uganda's Judge Julia Sebutinde on the International Court of Justice has consistently voted against every ruling the ICJ has adopted in South Africa's case against Israel under the Genocide Convention. (Including motions the Israeli judge voted for.)
As I'm not a lawyer, much less an expert in International law, initially I thought she was a contrarian, but expected her decisions would have at least some basis in International law.
I was wrong.
Public statements Ms Sebutinde is quoted as making in the linked article make a mockery of the “impartially"she swore to exercise as an ICJ judge:
"The Lord is counting on me to stand on the side of Israel. The whole world was against Israel, including my country.”
"She went on to say that she had a strong conviction that “we are in the end times”, and that the situation in the Middle East was among the signs.
“I want to be on the right side of history. I am convinced that time is running out,” she added. "
