Society’s natural human information filter has been short circuited by the marketing-led media. Very wealthy and unscrupulous people bypass the filter and spread disinformation. CBC, indeed all media, does a great more influencing than informing. Spying, state assumptions of guilt, relegation to the status of subject, below the status of citizen, does not seperate Canada from dictatorships, it effects the joining of their ranks. The cbc has fostered this culture with the policy of singling out the former Harper government while they maintain a policy of idolizing the trudeau government that voted for bill c-51. That’s influencing over informing. The cbc is no hero and also fritters away taxpayers money and escapes accountability.
